Since 2005 NLT has been proud to hold a Youth Summer Work Shop for grades 1-12. The children who participate in these work shops are involved in all aspects of theatre including acting, lights, sound, makeup, wardrobe, props and backstage. Our Summer Youth Work Shop productions open NLT's new season. These workshops have received partial funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. These productions have included Bugsy Malone, The Hobbit, Into the Woods, Grease, Once On This Island and this coming summer The Wizard of Oz.
